49.9k members in the aquarium community. this might be a stupid question but does anybody know if pool filter sand is aquarium safe???
i know that sand looks better on a tank but that aside? whats better, sand or if filter inlet is too low, livestock movement could kick up sand that clogs the filter.

if you have an ace hardware pick up a bag of pool filter sand. if they don't have it you can order it off their website and they will ship it to the store for free. 11.
